What is Zscaler? Zscaler is a web-filtering service that will replace the current SINA (myinternet) web filtering. It will provide schools with the tools required to manage web access. DRAFT ONLY ‘Filtering Advice for Schools’

Getting started Your focus is to implement rules to ensure that the users within your school are accessing appropriate websites and secures them as per your school’s acceptable use policy.

How to backup your Zscaler portal configuration 1)Login to the Zscaler admin portal for your site. URL: UN: PW: xxxx DRAFT ONLY
2) Navigate to the Administration > Backup & Restore Policies How to backup your Zscaler portal configuration DRAFT ONLY
3)Select “Edit” > “Create restore point” > Then name the restore point. Note: Choose something that is relevant that you will recognize at a future date. 4)> Select “Done” once complete How to backup your Zscaler portal configuration DRAFT ONLY
5) Select “Done” again on the “Backup & Restore Policies” page How to backup your Zscaler portal configuration DRAFT ONLY

1) Log into the Zscaler portal and navigate to the “Administration” > “Backup & Restore Policies” tab 2) Select “Edit” > then select the “Backup-Restore” icon on the backup point you wish to restore your configuration to How to restore your Zscaler portal configuration from a backup point DRAFT ONLY

Pathways for this scenario are: URL Policy If the website does not belong to a Web 2.0 Control category then you would need to add a user defined category and then add the rule for the group.
