AUSTRALIAN INVENTORS The Wireless Network project team CSIRO website – bibliography

 A group of Australian scientists from the CSIRO invented the wireless technology that is found in many of todays electronic devices.  Their invention allows devices like mobile phones, iPads, laptop computers, and televisions to connect to the internet remotely.

 Dr John O’Sullivan was the Project Leader Dr John O’Sullivan was the Project Leader  His area of expertise was Science and Electrical Engineering.  In 2009 he was awarded the Australian Prime Minister’s Prize for Science.  The other inventors names are Dr Terry Percival, Mr Diet Ostry and Mr John Deane. The inventors

Thanks to John’s team of inventors, their wireless technology is now used in more than 3 billion (3,000,000,000) devices around the world! By the end of this year this is predicted to grow to 5 billion devices. WOW! Their wireless invention has resulted in almost $500 million being paid from companies using their technology.
