Let’s get started today with:

Terms to Know Culture: People’s way of life, including their beliefs and daily practices. Cultural Landscape: The different parts of people’s environment that they have formed and shaped using technology.

Civilization: The more advanced culture that includes cities and a system of writing. Institution: An organization or custom that has social, educational, or religious purposes. Society: A group of several people sharing a culture.

Social Structure: Organized relationships in a pattern including groups of people within society. Social Class: Grouping of people that is based on rank or status. Nuclear Family: Family that includes a mother, a father, and their children. Extended family: Family including many generations, years.
