FINAL PRESENTATION VLIR-UOS Information Literacy Workshop, 8th - 19th December 2014 at the University of Antwerp

 What were my expectation from workshop?  What have I learned in the workshop?  What can I do when I return to Cuba?

 To expose my individual experiences on Information literacy at Central University of Las Villas  To exchange and share professionals experiences  To discuss on the good practices existing in other countries and compare them with Cuban IL practices  To start research projects with colleagues, in a collaborative way.

 Information Literacy continues as the main focus for the development of our universities.  The different conceptions about information literacy that the participants have, eg. The librarians point of view or the academics view. Also, the need to play both roles to achieve effectively IL training.

 To know projects like:  research4life.org  Libretcat  Others strengths of GoogleScholar that I had studied before  I enjoyed Siobhan Duvigneau’s sessions, not only because the subject was very familiar to me, but for a dynamic way to transmit the contents.  To work with googledocs, that was challenge for me

 To create interactive tutorials in web environment, using tools that I had met here.  To improve my training session with the techniques that I learned here.  To continue the study of this topic:  I would like to do comparative studies between Cuba and other countries of the participants in the workshop.

 VLIR-UOS to allow me participate in the workshop.  Nathalie, Marc and Egbert for your patience and knowledge  All my colleges that I met here, particularly all in the IL workshop.
