Who do you hear on the radio? Many of these people appear in other forms of media. List some of the people you hear along with where else they appear in the media and explain why they would be popular radio presenters.

Hamish and Andy Hughesy and Kate Video Hits presenters There is more…I just forgot them. :P

Hamish and Andy Hamish and Andy are popular because of their humor and their appearance. This makes them very noticeable and they stick in your head. Hughesy and Kate Hughesy and Kate are popular because of Hughesy’s popularity. Hughesy is also popular because of his humor and his Australian accent. Kate is unknown because of her lack of appearance in public. Video Hits Presenters Video Hits is so popular because of their interviews with musical artists, and their showing of Music Videos.

Hamish and Andy are a comedy radio show. Hamish and Andy’s show started in This show was shown once a day for 2 hours. They were called a comedy duo and are very popular. They then announced in August 2010 that they will be pushing the show aside to pursue other ideas that were pushed aside to do the radio show, as a result the show is now weekly. This weekly show goes to air every Friday between 4-6pm. They have great talent and are a hit in Australia. They have made tours too. My favourite tour is the Caravan of Courage. This has been toured around the world, from the UK to the US.

Hughesy and Kate are a radio show broadcasted by NOVA Hughesy and Kate started airing in early December Their show goes for 3 hours and is broadcasted in the morning. Their name is so easy to remember because it is catchy. NOVA broadcasts 5 important people which make the show. The 5 people Dave Hughes + Kate Langbroek – Main Hosts Ed Kavalee – Co-Host Lauren Brain – Latest news reporter Jeff Tyler – Sports reporter The show is mainly recorded in Richmond and is sent all around Victoria, not Australia.

Video hits is a music television show that shows the latest songs, concerts, interviews, competitions. It first started airing on the 15 th of Feb 1987 and it had its last episode on the 6 th of August Video Hits was played every weekend and had a great time slot. Even though they don’t appear on the radio as much they still play songs and do interviews which makes them a little more similar to other radio presenters. “Every Teardop is a Waterfall” by Coldplay, was their last song played. The Presenters Faustina Agolley Dylan Lewis These presenters are the newest presenters on Video Hits. They were the hosts for the last episode, but not for the first episode. Video Hits will be missed a lot, BY ME!
