The osteology demonstration Classes will be taken in each module/system There will be an osteology station during OSPE practical exam. General features and particular features of a bone is taught. Important dates for assessment examinations There will be four continuous assessment exams, C.A.1+C.A2+C.A.3+C.A.4 The dates are as follows:- C.A.1= 30 th October, 2011 C.A2= 12 th January, 2012 C.A.3= 27 th March, 2012 C.A.4= 27, th May,

The short quizzes There will be three quizzes during the whole year. Each quiz is from small topics covered during 2-3 lectures Quiz carries 10 marks Students can review their papers after 24 hrs. of the scheduled exams Q1 will be on 2 nd Oct,2011. Q2 will be on 15 th Dec’2011. Q3 will be on 21 st Feb’

The assignments There will be two assignment during the entire year. The date for assignment 1 = date of announcement 13 th Nov’2011 and date of submission is 26 th Feb’2012. The marks allotted for assignment is 10 5 marks are allotted for histology records per semester. The assignment submitted after the due date will not fetch any marks. 18

Museum study The specimen and models will not be issued, students can perform museum study during lab hours only. The museum has prosected plastinated specimens imported from Taiwan for the teaching and examination purpose. Embryology models are well displayed. 19
