Objective Students will examine and identify scientific tools in order to understand how and why they are used.

Homework Due on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 Complete the Scientific Tools Predictions and Definitions Worksheet, if not finished before dismissal.

Essential Question What are science tools? Why and how are they used by scientists?

Scientist? What is a scientist? Take 1-2 minutes to discuss this with your partner or group members.

Scientist is… A scientist is an expert in at least one area of science, who uses the scientific method/science process to do research.

Classwork Part I: Scavenger Hunt Worksheet (15 points) {20 minutes}
