A collective vision and role on campus The Centers are committed to social change grounded in the principles of inclusion, access, and equity. Our name reflects the collective purpose of the Centers at UIC: to expand understanding of the value of cultural diversity and connect diverse assets to find creative solutions for common challenges. This collective purpose draws upon the Centers’ expertise in scholarship and practice to provide relevant support to our specific populations on campus and opportunities for intercultural engagement among students, faculty, staff, and Chicago communities.

Campus Advocacy Network  Services are confidential and free;  Provide advocacy for female, male or Trans identified students, faculty or staff who experience stalking, domestic or dating violence, sexual assault and hate crime;  Assist clients with criminal, university administrative and civil options;  Classroom presentations about healthy relationships, interpersonal violence and bystander intervention.

Campus Advocacy Network Services include:  Overview of options;  Assistance with orders of protection or no contact orders;  Safety planning;  Accompany to police station, court or student conduct process;  Contacting professors about academic accommodations per Title IX.
