Don’t Forget! Make sure that you have signed in tonight (sign in is on the horseshoe table).

Reminders Parent volunteer forms MUST be completed and on file, even to go on field trips with their students only or want to help you with clerical duties in the classroom or with any celebrations, etc. This does not take long for the approval, but it must be on file We only check the Child Protection Registry and this takes a few weeks. They DO NOT need to have a background check for this Parents/Guardians who were approved last year DO NOT NEED to reapply, BUT it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to check the binders prior to them attending/participating. They are located behind the main office on the file cabinet to the right of the paper shredder. NO paraprofessionals, Lunch/recess monitors or Non-CSD employees are to reference these binders. There is confidential information included and we are bound by HIPA (Privacy). Parents who do not have social security numbers are encouraged to apply. Parents/Guardians who want to chaperone or otherwise supervise children other than their own would need to complete the forms and have the Background Checks. We have limited Background Check vouchers for them to use as payment. Last year’s voucher will not be honored by the State Police.

Reminders (cont.) Lightweight jackets or sweaters maybe worn as the weather becomes chilly Appointments/Conferences are to be made in advance. You will not be seen without prior arrangements. ELL/ESOL/Enrichment Parents are being asked to complete a survey.
