Romania ’ s embassies and consulates role Displaying informative materials on rights of trafficked persons; Informing Romanian nationals, through appropriate means, on the domestic legislation of the host state and provide the necessary assistance and protection for victims of trafficking; Assisting victims of trafficking is within the responsibility of the consul. Embassy and consulates are currently working closely with NGO’s and other international organizations involved in combating trafficking.
