THIRD CONDITIONALS

 If I hadn`t started my project late, I would have written more.  I would have downloaded some photos for you if you had asked me.  If I had put it into a folder, it would have made a better impression.  If you had used a computer, it wouldn`t have looked messy.

Условные предложения третьего типа выражают «нереальное прошлое»: если бы позавчера А, то вчера бы В. Я бы прислал тебе много фотографий, если бы ты попросил меня. (но в реальности ты меня не попросил и поэтому я не прислал.)

Third Conditionals  Many contemporary amateur athletes would have broken world records if they had taken part in the first Olympic games.  A lot of people would have died from wounds during the World War II, if Voino-Jaqsenetsky hadn`t made his discoveries in contaminated surgery.  She would have passed her exams last year if she had studied harder.
