W HAT THE C IRCULATORY SYSTEM D OES ? The circulatory system circulates blood though the body, supplies oxygen and nutrients, and removes waste.

F UNCTIONS OF THE C IRCULATORY SYSTEM The function of the circulatory system is to transport blood throughout the body, and removes waste.

T HE O RGANS OF THE C IRCULATORY SYSTEM The organs of the circulatory system is the heart, veins, blood vessels, and arteries. Arteries carry blood away from the heart. Veins carry blood back to the heart. Heart is a hollow muscular organ that pumps blood through the circulatory system. Blood Vessels moves the by the pumping of the heart, and flows from the arteries and veins.

W HAT OTHER B ODY SYSTEM I T W ORKS W ITH ? The circulatory system works with the respiratory system. The circulatory system works with the respiratory system, because the circulatory system circulates the blood though the body. The respiratory system provides breathing supplies oxygen to the blood.

H OW THE S YSTEM WORKS The blood delivers nutrients and oxygen to all cells in the body. The heart and the blood vessels are running through the entire body. The arteries carry blood away from the heart. The veins carry blood back to the heart.
