Shadowing another employee If the applicant has never worked in a long-term care facility before, we require four hours of shadowing another employee. Steps include: Applicant shadows a designated preceptor Applicant completes a packet that includes a confidentiality agreement A Job Shadowing Task Checklist is completed during the four-hour shadowing process
