 Lord Proprietors  More people came because the land was cheep  They charged people to rent to live there

 Which gave away religious freedom for Baptists, Angilacans, and others

 Concentrated on agriculture and developed the plantations exporting tobacco, cotton, corn, veggies, grain, fruit, and live stalks Warmest of all the colonies

 Forests, (timber) and good agricultural land farming and plantations were important exported agricultural products to other colonies
