Why JIMMY ? ENERGY LOYALTY OUTGOING EXCITED CARING DEVOTED SINCERITY FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT FOR HEALTHY LIVING FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Lead Generation Drawings held occasionally at various community events, gatherings, businesses, etc. Use contest entries to build an /contact list to be used for future communications with members and prospective members Provide guest cards to members occasionally to allow members to bring their friends and then provide incentives to those members that bring someone that joins as a result of their visit. Encourage staff to promote YMCA membership and offer incentives to those that successfully recruit new members. Perhaps with increasing incentives at 1 new member, 2 new members, 5 new members, 10 new members etc. These incentives can be in the form financial remuneration, discounts, gift cards, a membership they can “gift” to a friend or relative (in hopes of that person continuing after the gift membership ends) Outreach classes in the park at the beach FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT FOR HEALTHY LIVING FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Generate Excitement Create Excitement and Pride in membership Encourage staff to post approved notices using their social media accounts (facebook, twitter, instagram) Enough people posting about classes or activities that they like or are involved in become free advertisement without looking like the YMCA is directly “spamming” people. Encourage members to easily post or tweet their successes at various fitness levels, similar to the colored t-shirts used with Fitlinxx. Parents can post that their kids are registered for camp and possibly post pictures from prior camp experiences Kids that have been promoted in swim lessons can be posted (bragged) about online also Let’s find a way that this can be done without the parents having to go online and do it themselves, but find a way that it can be done from the branch of course parents could opt in or out of the program, not be forced. FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT FOR HEALTHY LIVING FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Would the leadership be amenable to my completing my degree in the direction of marketing? Possibly Springfield University. What exactly are you looking for in a candidate for this position? When do you anticipate this position beginning? Do you anticipate that I’ll be able to become a benefitted employee with this position? Will I be shared between aquatics and sales or solely sales?
