Access to HE Diploma Practical Nursing Studies An access course for entry into a Nursing degree. A unique qualification with a work based learning element in a clinical setting contributing to a total of 60 credits. What we did?

To address the shortage of nurses in the Tower Hamlets health economy from the BAME communities particularly the Bangladeshi community. To provide a clear vocational route into higher education; to study nursing at degree level and therefore to increase the supply of qualified professionals from the Bangladeshi community. To help towards creating a local nursing workforce that is culturally and linguistically sensitive. Why we did it?
