Before Jesus died  Jesus knew he was going to be killed so he held a dinner with his friends and gave one last teaching. This is known as the last supper.

On the day of his death  Jesus was killed as a result of people believing he was a liar and that he was deceiving people.  His punishment was broken in 14 parts called the stations of the cross.

Turn and talk  Why do you think Jesus was punished so harshly?

After his death  After Jesus died it is said that his body was removed from the cross. Cleaned and buried in a tomb behind a huge stone.

The resurrection  It is believed that 3 days after his death Jesus rose from the dead. This is called the resurrection.
