Conference Planning Anthony Waas, SDM technical chair, has projected an acceptance rate of 86% –Projects 154 structures papers –25-28 sessions, including special sessions Fall planning meeting is Monday, 10/8 in Schaumberg, IL at conference hotel –Need 100% reviews completed by 10/2 to support session planning prior to fall planning meeting –Last reminder to delinquent reviewers sent Thursday, 9/27 –Abstracts lacking reviews will be reassigned starting Saturday, 9/29 –Reviews due Tuesday, 10/2

Review Selection Criterion Used recommended scoring: –5 = Strongly Recommend –4 = Recommend –3 = Average –1 = Reject –0 = Strongly Reject Despite asking, some reviewers still used revise selection –Revise converted to strongly reject Some reviewers also did not enter scores, saying that the abstract was outside of their expertise area –Requires reassignment of about 10 reviews –Reassignments will happen Saturday 9/29 –Reviews Due Tuesday 10/2
