WHAT KIND OF WEAPONS DID THEY USE IN WWII BY JUSIAH MANAPORI

WHAT WAS THEIR DEADLIEST WEAPON FOR WW2? Pound for pound of ordinance dropped, that would be the nuclear bomb. Bombers in general, torpedoes, large bore naval cannons, and dam buster bombs.

WHAT IS THE FASTEST GUN? The Fastest gun in the world is a 36 barrel prototype which could fire about 1,000,000 rounds per minute. (16600 bullets a second.) The fact that the bullets are stacked behind each other enables it to fire that fast. This weapon can be mounted on jeeps, planes, helicopters, tanks etc..

THEIR MAIN THINGS THEY NEEDED FOR BATTLE. The battleships and their air force planes were one of the few.

SOME OF THE WEAPONS THEY USED IN WWII… Tanks were one of the main…. And artillery were for the soldiers on foot.

WHAT WEAPONS WERE USED IN WWII? Tanks - Used lightly in WWI but a major part of every important army in WWII. Innovations during the war were outstanding in armament, control systems, radius of operation, reliability. Radio communication added enormously to their effectiveness. Germany and Russia had the best tanks.

AIRCRAFTS Used to some extent in WWI, but became, in some theatres, the major weapon in WWII. Used extensively to expanded sea power in particular. Long range and heavier payload bombers became used for the first time. Transport aircraft were improved to the point that major armies could be supplied and were on various occasions, entirely by air armadas. The German JU series planes were probably the most versatile of the war and of course, German jets were cutting edge comparable). The USA had the finest bomber fleet by far.

AIRCRAFT CARRIERS Tinkered with in WWI, they became indispensible in the long distances involved in the Pacific war. They were also important in the Atlantic sea battles in that they 'closed the gap' in air cover mid-ocean. Technically the Japanese carriers were probably a little better than the American. For example the Japanese had steel decks whereas the Americans used wood in many Air Crafts to reduce cost and to reduce top heaviness.

Semi-Automatic Rifles M1 Garand (M1-E7 Garand had scope and flash suppressor) M1 Carbine (M1A1 had folding stock and pistol grip for paratroopers). Submachine Guns: Thompson M1A1 Thompson M1928A1 (Tommy Gun) M3A1 'Grease gun' M2 Carbine (considered an SMG because it fires a pistol cartridge)

WHAT WAS A RADAR USED FOR IN WWII ? A radar is not a 'weapon' exactly but was a major new system that not just pointed out air craft approaching, but aided weapons guidance systems in the war.
