AXIS POWER WEAPONS The Axis Powers were countries fighting against the Allied Powers. The Axis Powers were countries fighting against the Allied Powers. These countries were Germany, Japan, and Italy. These countries were Germany, Japan, and Italy. These three countries wanted global domination. These three countries wanted global domination.

Panzerschreck The Panzerschreck was a shoulder-mounted, weapon used by the Germans to take down Allied tanks in combat. This rocket could penetrate metal that was 8.25 inches thick. Unfortunately, this was thicker than any allied tanks armor. A Canadian soldier holding a captured Panzerschreck.

German Gas Pistol A double barrel Over/Under pistol manufactured by Gerstenberger & Eberwein of Gussenstadt, Germany. This pistol, used by the German forces in WWII, was a very deadly weapon for Allied ground forces. The reason, not only could it shoot bullets, it could also shoot tear gas pellets. The pellets would blind the Allied troops and the Germans would also shoot them with the same gun.

MP-40 The MP-40 was widely used by German unit leaders in WWII. This was a fully automatic sub-machine gun. The sound of this gun was feared by Allied forces because of its accuracy and it could shoot 400 to 500 rounds per minute.

Type 100 Sub-Machine Gun The Type 100 was a Japanese sub-machine gun used in WWII. Designed and built by the Nambu Arms Manufacturing Company, this was the only sub-machine gun produced by Japan.

Beretta Modello 1935 The Beretta Modello 1935 was manufactured by Beretta. This pistol was a single-action, semi- automatic pistol used by Fascist Italy in WWII. Since this pistol only had a magazine capacity of 8 rounds, it was used as a last resort, self-defense pistol.

Allied Power Weapons The Allied Powers were the countries fighting against the Axis Powers. The Allied Powers were the countries fighting against the Axis Powers. These countries were the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Soviet Union. These countries were the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Soviet Union. These countries were fighting to put an end to the Axis Powers plan of global domination. These countries were fighting to put an end to the Axis Powers plan of global domination.

M1A1 Thompson Developed by John Thompson, this was the standard issue American sub-machine gun of WWII. This gun could shoot 600-800 rounds per minute making it a very deadly gun for the Axis powers.

M3 Grease Gun G. Hyde developed the M3 Grease Gun. This gun was made to replace the M1A1 Thompson because the Thompson was expensive and hard to manufacture. The Grease gun had a 30 round magazine, but fired at a slower rate for better control and ammo consumption.

M1918A2 B.A.R. Designed by John M. Browning, the Browning Automatic Rifle (B.A.R.) was a cross between an infantry rifle and an automatic firing weapon, such as a machine gun. This was designed for maneuverability on the battlefields because the machine gun was too heavy for head to head combat.

M9 Bazooka The M9 Bazooka was made to replace the M1 Bazooka. The M9 was capable of being disassembled into two parts and was lighter and easier to handle.

PPSH41 The PPSH41 was the standard issue sub-machine gun for the Soviet army. It was made famous in the battle of Stalingrad and was one of the fastest produced sub-machine gun in WWII. PPSH41 was dangerous for the Axis power troops because it could shoot a surprising 900 rounds per minute.
