Move On to World Class Skills Get On At Work Provider Induction Pack - an introduction

2 Purpose of the pack Support provider responsiveness to Skills for Life in the workplace. Share the GOAW approach and offer of support to employers. Signpost a selection of resources and further training packages to support the approach.

3 Get On At Work approach Promotion: A positive sell of the offer and opportunity to develop and modernise English and maths skills, with the value added of a national qualification, in the context of current key drivers and targets. Engagement: engages and trains referrers (e.g. managers, brokers, teachers, union learning reps, learners, frontline staff) who have frequent contact with potential beneficiaries. Delivery / Training: Focused, relevant programmes incorporating the opportunity to prepare and enter for the National Certificate in Adult Literacy and/or Numeracy and providing a stepping-stone to full Level 2 qualifications where appropriate.
