a better place to live BACKGROUND TO DE VERE CARE Established during 2000 with an aim to provide high quality care service to local population During 2004, underwent massive restructuring to include Quality Assurance and Contracts Management departments Partnership working with Local Authority by participating in local forums; Involved in local safeguarding committee and various other initiatives. In 2008, achieved UKAS certified ISO 9001:2000 quality accreditation; First domiciliary care organisation in the UK to be accredited with C2E (Committed to Equality). De Vere Care

Incorporated Dignity in Care in person-centred care planning, monitoring procedures etc. Developed junior dignity champions initiative. Staff training (covers Cultural relativism) and feedback through supervision and on-the-job assessments using systems approach covering: the tasks they perform, the available tools designed to support them, the environment in which they operate.
