Guiding Principles Considered strategies will have to: Reverse Soils and Water deperdition for sustainability; Help population attain Food security (nutritional requirements) and address vulnerability management issues; Generate incomes to monetize rural economy and allow farmers to access markets.

Challenges of the Process How to simultaneously: Meet Political goals and ambition for economic growth through agriculture while Taking into account population’s demand expressed through the Community Development Plans?

What Strategies will help the farmers make the transition from subsistence to a modern, integrated, market-oriented agriculture?
