Presentation transcript:

The Brain The brain can be seen as a man in control of your thoughts and actions. It tells the body what to do when you want to do it. The brain is the genius of the body. Your brain is protected by your skull, which is a large, hollow bone in your head.

How it works: The brain receives and distributes* signals, like a power cord, which it passes on to the nerves in the body, allowing you to move. This means that the brain signals are like an electrical current.

How can you get a healthy brain? We can exercise it by reading, doing puzzles, playing memory games and learn new words every day! We can eat good, healthy foods, rich in Omega oils. We can drink lots of water to keep it awake. We can protect our heads by wearing protective gear, like a helmet when riding bike.
