My focus today is to help you effectively integrate technology into the curriculum. I have evaluated a list of networks and select two networks that would best support technology instruction in the classroom. The two networks I have chosen are Teacher Rated (Lesson Gateway) and Flashcard Friends. FocusFocus

Teacher Rated Background Information Teacher Rated which is now known as Lesson Gateway, is a free online community where K-12 teachers can find, share, rate and review the best online educational resources on the Internet. Impact on Professional Practice These two networks I selected will allow me to model technology integration seamlessly as follows: Provide instructional planning assistance to teachers in the area of technology integration Assist teachers in locating and developing instructional materials to support student learning Provide instructional support to teachers and students through model teaching, co-teaching, instructional planning, and content development to effectively utilize district resources and technology in the classroom Thus impacting my role as a Fifth Grade Teacher and Technology Leader for my grade level.

Summary Teachers stress over the integration of technology throughout the curriculum. Many state, “When do I get the time?” or “I don’t know where to go to find technology!” I hope this presentation will provided you with the resources needed and less time for searching.
