What is the CFC Federal Employees’ annual workplace fundraising drive for charity Planned, organized and implemented by Federal employees Contracts with a participating charity to serve as Principal Combined Fund Organization (PCFO) and administer the program United Way of Greater LA is the current PCFO

LFCC (CFC board of directors) Consists of Federal managers Hires PCFO & approves budget Conducts charitable eligibility review Provides oversight of PCFO Approves campaign material Conducts compliance audit

LFCC cont. Approves CFC scope of work Implements campaign strategies Conducts executive visits Promotes the CFC amount their peers Supports the loaned executive program Attend key CFC events

How pledges are processed March – August: PCFO agreement signed, committees recruited and organized Sept. – Dec: Kickoff, white forms sent to payroll and yellow to PCFO for processing January: PCFO receives monthly, payroll deducted payments from various payroll centers February: PCFO is reimbursed for campaign expenses (March – February March – PCFO send campaign summary and designation totals to participating charities and begins monthly distributions to charities (April) April: Federations send payments to member charities
