Brain All 5 parts of the brain are very important!

Cerebrum The biggest part of the brain is the cerebrum it makes up 85% of the weight of the brain. The cerebrum is the thinking part of the brain and the bit that moves your muscles. The right side of the cerebrum controls the left side and the left side controls the right side.

Cerebellum At the back of the brain bellow the cerebrum there's the cerebellum it’s only 1/8 the size of the cerebrum. It controls balance, movement and coordination.

Brain stem Beneath the cerebrum and in front of the cerebellum there is a thing called the brain stem, it connects the brain to the spinal cord. It tells the main muscles and nerves to feel and move.

Pituitary gland An other part of the brain is the pituitary gland. It is the size of a pea and controls your growth and it plays a big part in puberty. It knows how much sugar and water is in your body.

Hypothalamus The Hypothalamus controls your temperature and tells you when to sweat and shiver.
