St Georges Mental Health NHS Trust Springfield Garden Village  A plan for the regeneration of the 168-year-old Springfield University Hospital site in Tooting. It is a vision to transform a crumbling, 80-acre site into a vibrant mixed use development that places health and well being at the heart of a thriving new community.

St Georges Mental Health NHS Trust Springfield Garden Village The plan is to create a mixed use development at that is inspired by the garden village concept and will:  Preserve the site's heritage and open space.  Provide high quality accommodation and opportunities for people.  Place good health at the heart of the community.

The Laurie Marsh model: An alternative financing option for the redevelopment of the Stanmore site Our interpretation:  Trust does not get funds from land sales  housing development would be undertaken in phases  Residential properties would be leasehold  hospital redevelopment would be either phased as dependent on cash flow or would not occur until all the residential units had been completed and sold possible shortfall in funds  DH support  Funding support from NHS London not forth coming
