3 Housing Capital Programme Between 2012 and 2015 we invested £81million in our Council housing. We will spend a further £122million in the period 2015 -2020.

4 New Homes Since 2013, and 25 years on from the last new Council homes built in the area, West Dunbartonshire Council has invested over £8million in providing 121 new build Council homes with a further 37 new homes planned this year. This has included over £4million in grant funding from the Scottish Government. In the same period, our housing association partners have provided 66 new units, investing over £6million and supported by £3.8million grant funding. Our new strategic housing partnership will deliver a further 236 new social houses by 2020.

5 Improving Existing Primary Schools Bonhill Schools Reprofiling - £1.87m Extensive refurbishment of Ladyton PS building to accommodate St Ronan’s PS; and Amalgamation of Highdykes & Ladyton PS to form Lennox PS with an extensive refurbishment of the St Ronan’s PS building. Schools Regenerating Learning £5.5m to 6 schools with another 4 receiving Health and Safety improvements Elevate current category C graded Primary Schools to category B; Carry our essential Health & Safety works; and Further enhance current Category B graded Primary Schools.

6 New Primary Schools Bellsmyre PS - £10.65m Design and construction of a new primary school building designed to accommodate the co-location of two separate primary schools, one Roman catholic (St Peter’s) and one non- denominational (Aitkenbar). And the Early Education and Childcare Centre (EECC) currently located within St Peter’s Primary School and additional EECC at Andrew B Cameron. Demolition of the existing St Peters school building. Completion Date: August 2016.

7 New Primary Schools Balloch Campus - £15.4m Design and construction of a new primary school building designed to accommodate the co-location of three separate primary schools, Haldane PS (non-denominational), Jamestown PS (non-denominational) & St Kessog’s PS (RC). Additionally it will include a new Jamestown Early Education and Childcare Centre (EECC) and Additional Support Needs (ASN) provision. Completion Date: July 2017.

8 New Secondary Schools Kilpatrick ASN - £10.1m Design and construction of new Additional Support Needs Secondary School. New build on site within grounds of current school. Demolition of existing school once new school has been completed and construction of 3G sports pitch. Link corridor and early year’s extension to existing Primary School to be provided. Completion Date: October 2016.

9 New Secondary Schools OLSP - £25.0m Design and construction of a new replacement high school. Phase 1 of the project will consist of the construction of the new school and sports building along with the construction of two 3G football pitches. Phase 2 will consist of the demolition of the existing school which lies on a separate site across the town in Hawthornhill Road, Dumbarton.

10 New Care Homes Dumbarton Care Home & Daycare Centre Works are underway on the Crosslet House site, Dumbarton. The capital budget approved to deliver the replacement, state of the art facilities in both Dumbarton and Clydebank is £22.7m. Enabling works commenced on site on 24 June 2015. Completion Date: January 2017.

11 New Care Homes Clydebank Care Home & Daycare Centre Site forms part of the Queens Quay Masterplan development proposals, Clydebank. The Care Home construction will commence in line with the delivery of the Masterplan infrastructure programme and site specific enabling works - August 2016. 84 bed Care Home and 50 persons Daycare Centre designed to respond to the model of care and Masterplan design parameters.

12 Clydebank Health Centre Funding announcement by Scottish Government June 2015. Major investment in Queen’s Quay Clydebank. Adjacent to the new Clydebank Care Home and the Leisure Centre.

15 Queens Quay Development Joint venture partnership with Private sector CRL to develop out a 98 acre riverside site in Clydebank undeveloped for over a decade Council investment of £16.20m over a three year period: – 1600m of road and public realm – 1200m of Quay wall – New civic spaces – Linear park/cycleway It is expected that over a 7 to 12 year period the whole site can be fully developed Commence April 2016 over a six year period
