Specific Deliverables for 2010 Organise one Remote Sensing Workshop, currently planned to take place in Brazil, in March 2010, in coordination with CEOS Chair. Theme disaster management in Latin Americas. Target audience - primarily secondary level teachers, but some training managers. Further upgrades to the WGEdu Portal in response to requests from CEOS Members, Associates, Constellations and specific GEO tasks. 23 rd CEOS Plenary I Phuket, Thailand I 3-5 November

Specific Deliverables for 2010 Develop the GNC Training Channel concept into a real educational and training data exchange mechanism, in cooperation with GNC partners, professional training institutes such as ITC, COMET, etc, and the evolving needs of potential user communities. By end of 2010 produce one “Eduflow” training module addressing ocean/coastal ecosystem issues of importance to Argentina (host of next WGEdu annual meeting). This will be training material for students, produced by students, managed and funded by SEO office (NASA Langley). 23 rd CEOS Plenary I Phuket, Thailand I 3-5 November

Specific Deliverables for 2010 Forge closer links with GEO CBC and its activities, again representing CEOS as the “space” arm of GEO, thereby ensuring greater synergy in the evolution of the activities of each group. 23 rd CEOS Plenary I Phuket, Thailand I 3-5 November
