10. 25th CEOS Plenary | Lucca, Italy| 8-9 November 2011 Observations on Our Work in 2011 Continued complex and time-intensive internal and external coordination –GEO Work Plan and its actions –Interactions among numerous internal and external individuals/groups –Occasional difficulties in receiving needed information –External meetings schedule and adequate CEOS representation remain a challenge Much heavier workload than even first anticipated –Growing overall workload for CEOS: Existing and new activities –Key time of transition with GEO WP and organization, and all its attendant outreach/coordination –Major (and very worthwhile) effort in supporting CEOS Self-Study –“Accretion of Duties” as dedicated CEOS representatives Strategic, tactical, and administrative We’re very glad there are two of us!
