Leeds Low Emission Vehicle Exhibition & Conference 7 th October 2010 Alternative Fuel Supplier of the Year 2008

2 Company overview o Gasrec has assembled a portfolio of exclusive technologies to o Produce Liquid Biomethane (LBM) from landfill and other waste streams o Use the LBM as cost effective, carbon neutral vehicle fuel o Market to fleet operators who require cost effective fuel solutions and want to enhance environmental credentials o Exploit current legislative drivers and public opinion o These technologies are patented, proven and commercial and are applicable to a global problem o Mission statement “To produce a carbon neutral fuel from society’s waste to power those vehicles and services essential to society”

3 Albury Production Plant Albury produces circa 5000tpa of LBM Capable of providing fuel for 150 HGVs or up to 500 LGVs Sita UK operated landfill site receiving all of Surrey’s household and domestic waste Sufficient biogas to operate the facility for 15 years

4 Why Liquid Biomethane? o LBM is a readily transported fuel with the following characteristics o Direct substitute for either LNG or CNG o Storable and transportable o Lowest carbon intensity of any readily available fuel o Vehicle fuel o Cheaper and cleaner than diesel, CNG or LNG o High percentage reduction in C02 emissions o Very dry compared to CNG o 1Kg of LBM provides the same energy as 1.2 litres of diesel

5 Environmental Benefits Lowest carbon intensity of any alternative fuel 90% reduction in Particulate Matter 60% reduction in Nitrous Oxide 50% reduction in Sulphur Dioxide 30% reduction in engine noise Hydrogen plus 1 carbon atom, 3 times the calorific value a third of the cost and available TODAY

6 Logistics for LBM Readily stored and transported Large quantities of energy can be moved easily (LBM has 611 times the energy content compared to its’ gaseous state) Delivered direct to customer location, similar to a bunkered diesel operation Security of supply guaranteed with LNG back-up
