Lethbridge Christian Tabernacle Managing Events

Dashboard – Log In Once you have logged in you should see something like what’s in this image. In the top left if you click on the Lethbridge Christian Tab it should show a dropdown with ‘Dashboard’ at the top of it. If you click on this it will take you to the administration dashboard page and will look similar to this picture, but probably with less choices 

Dashboard – Adding Events – Part 1  Clicking on the ‘My Calendar’ menu item on the left side of the dashboard will bring up the ‘Add Event’ form or chose it from the list Give the Event a Title Give it a description – tell people what it’s about Choose the host Choose the event category

Dashboard – Adding Events – Part 2 This is the date and time of the Event: NOTE: Clicking into the date box should bring up a calendar to choose a date from NOTE: Clicking into a time box should bring up a list of times to choose from If this is an all day event just check the ‘all day’ check box instead of Filling in the start and end times If this is a recurring type of event, there are several recurring options to choose from If there is a preset location set up for this choose it from the drop-down That’s pretty much it … just click the submit button to save and publish the event

Dashboard – Editing Events In the My Calendar sub-menu you will see the ‘Manage Events’ item. Clicking on it will bring you to this page. If you are an Event Editor you will be able to see all existing events. If you are an Event Contributor then you are limited to only seeing the events you have added Find the event you wish to modify and click on the blue event title. That will bring up the event in the same form that we filled out in the previous slides. Make your changes and then click on the ’Save Event’ Button at the bottom of the page
