2 To log in, click the Login button in the upper right-hand corner.
Welcome to the Home Page! Be sure to check this out for useful information and links supplied by your librarian.

3 Type in your f- or s- number and your district password then click Login.

4 You’ll know you’re logged in when you see the Home, Catalog, and My Info tabs. You’ll also see your name in the upper right-hand corner.

5 To start a search, click the Catalog tab.
Where do you want to look for materials? Your choices start with searching your school library. Click the drop down menu for more options. Teachers can also search the District Media collection & the Art Center with a second pull down menu.

1 How to make a Resource list: Click on the Catalog tab. Click on Resource Lists Click on Add List 3 2

7 Name your list, click the box IF you’d like to make it Public, and add a brief description. Click Save when you’re done.

8 Now we’ll show a search that we can use to fill our Resource List for ‘habitats’. Notice that we’re searching all middle and high schools as well as the District Media (Videos, KITS, Puppets) collection at the same time.

9 Check Web Sites and One Search too!
The middle and high schools (and Library Media) have a number of items with the keyword ‘habitats’ in the record. Check Web Sites and One Search too! You can add the entire page to your Selected List by clicking Add Page. If you’d like to add things one at a time, click Add to this list. The same process applies when adding search results from the Web Sites and One Search subtabs. You get a great deal of information from a single search!

10 From here you can 1) find out more about the title, 2) check out the WebPath Express results, 3) add the item to your selected list, or 4) ask for the item to be sent to you. 2 3 4 1

11 If you clicked the Hold It
If you clicked the Hold It! button in the previous slide (box 4), you’ll be given the choice of ‘As soon as possible’ or ‘Reserve for specific date’. If ‘As soon as possible’ is okay, click Save. If you need to ‘Reserve for a specific date’, choose that option from the drop down menu.

12 If you need something for a specific time, or for a book group, use the ‘Reserve for specific date’ choice in the drop down menu. From here you can choose how many copies to reserve from the lending library (if they have more than one) and what dates you’d like to reserve those copies for. Be sure to click Save when done!

13 Once you click Save, you’ll be returned to the Title Details screen
Once you click Save, you’ll be returned to the Title Details screen. A confirmation message appears telling you what you requested and for when. You can continue browsing your search results or start a new search with the navigation breadcrumbs in the green bar across the top of the screen.
