Managing Stress and Anxiety Definition of Stress:  The reaction of the body and mind to everyday challenges and demands Definition of Anxiety:  The condition of feeling uneasy or worried about what may happen

Managing Stress and Anxiety Stress and anxiety may be good or bad  Some stress can act as a motivator and can increase energy (playing in the championship game)  Some anxiety can act a s motivator (I am going to finish this assignment so I stop worrying)  Some stress can be unhealthy (fighting with a friend and losing sleep)  Some anxiety can be unhealthy (worrying about things I cannot control)
