QUOTATION REVIEW Let’s See What You Know

A FEW MORE RULES…  Use single quotation marks to enclose a quotation within a quotation. “Mrs. Engle distinctly said, ‘Your book reports are due Thursday,’” Krista told me. “Strong’s new song is ‘Be True, Not Blue,’ and it’s great!” Marcie said. “Wasn’t it Patrick Henry who said, ‘Give me liberty or give me death’?” Mark asked.

RULES…  Use quotation marks to enclose the titles of short works such as short stories, poems, newspaper or magazine ARTICLES, song titles, episodes of a television series, and chapter titles of a book.  Marcie enjoys Big Bang Theory, and her favorite episode is “Sheldon Takes Revenge.”
