DIRECTIONS FOR SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE MAPS.

 Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie were murdered by Gavrilo Princip – a member of the Black Hand, a Serbian terrorist group – in Sarajevo in  Austria-Hungary blamed all of Serbia for the assassination.

Because we only see the part of Russia that borders Europe, it may not be immediately clear to you that Russia is the largest nation on Earth – but it is, and by far!

 England, or course, is a group of islands off the coast of greater Europe. During World War I, Great Britain would have included Ireland – which was fighting steadfastly for its independence.
