BG1 – LEO Achieving Innovative Skills and Competences in Tourism Through Mobility Lifelong Learning Programme Leonardo Da Vinci Sector Programme project Mobility In this project participated 20 students from 12 th grades of Professional High School of Tourism – Gabrovo of the subjects in the sphere of tourism - “Organization of Hotel Keeping", “Guiding", «Tourist Animation". In the Mobility took part two teachers with high linguistic and professional training. The project meets the following needs of Professional High School of Tourism students: - acquiring practical experience about new technologies for preparing dishes in the restaurant kitchen and bar and restaurant servicing;; - organizing catering events for a big number of guests - cocktails, parties, catering service; - working with modern reservation systems – checking in and checking out hotel guests; - practical experience in cleaning, servicing and preparing of a hotel room; - practicing German language in a real situation; - motivating participants for realization in the field of tourism and entrepreneurship in a competitive business situation; - applying good practices of the mobility in vocational training lessons in the gymnasium.

The company has offices in 60 cities in Germany, a personnel of 400 full-time workers and 1400 free-lance tutors. WBS Training AG has a quality certificate EN ISO 9001:2000 and provides services in the following spheres: education - 85%, business - training - 10% and European projects - 5%. The European projects activities are targeted mainly to students in initial vocational training, teachers and adults after secondary vocational education. Steps in the technological process;  Pre-processing of vegetables, dairy and meat products. Fast foods;  Preparing typical German dishes: salads and dressings; main dishes of fish, chicken and pork meat; vegetarian dishes;  Dishes of Bulgarian national cuisine;  Welcoming and saying good bye, introducing a menu, consulting guests when ordering, preparing the bill for the guest;  Organization and servicing at restaurant and bar;  Preparing and decorating a restaurant table;  Achieving European standards of hygiene. BG1 – LEO Achieving Innovative Skills and Competences in Tourism Through Mobility The project results:  Achieved European practices for serving guests in the hotel, restaurant and bar;  Acquired practical skills for working in a multicultural environment;  Improved language skills for communication with guests, understanding instructions for the implementation of specific tasks given by the direct mentor and employer;  Acquired lexical models for understanding and analyzing the individual progress shared by the experts of the host country;  Knowledge about the culture and traditions of the host country through the course study in Bulgaria and cultural program in Germany;  Sharing the acquired knowledge and skills in order to multiply the results of mobility in vocational training in Professional High School of Tourism “Pencho Semov” – Gabrovo.
