CEP at a glance The Centre for European programmes (CEP) is a major department of Outreach and Excellence of the American University in Bulgaria in the field of European integration, European project management, European utilities management, etc., educating a critical mass of experts, working towards the positive change of Bulgarian public and business sector regarding Bulgaria’s EU membership. CEP brings together public administration, business and non for profit and works for the benefit to promote their mutual interests.

CEP Services & Activities: Organization of special events, seminars, conferences; Certificate programmes and trainings organization and implementation; Meeting our participants with the best practitioners in the field, business instructors and governmental decision makers; Provision of advice and consultancy service on EU funded projects and programmes; Assistance in attaining a valuable insight in EU Consultancy and Project Management; Design and implementation of projects funded by the European Union and other donors;

Projects CEP has a track record of more than 80 projects and initiatives funded by programmes of the European Union and other donors, implemented through academic exchange, professional training programmes, research and consultancy work, study visits, seminars and conferences, among which: 2006 Phare Multi-country Information and Communication Programme of the Representation of the European Commission in Bulgaria; 2005 Phare Multi-country Information and Communication Programme of the Delegation of the European Commission in Bulgaria ; Socrates/Grundtvig 1 ; Socrates/Grundtvig 2; Socrates/Grundtvig 3 Programmes; PHARE Small Projects Programme; PHARE Cross Border Cooperation Programme; Jean Monnet Programme; Socrates/Erasmus Programme; Leonardo da Vinci Programme; Series of training courses an information activities on Structural Funds and EU matters, funded by USAID, World bank, UNDP and other donors; Operational programme “Administrative Capacity”.
