First? Read Question What is it asking? What’s the issue? What do you need to know? What do you already know?

Brainstorm Next? Most important step! Come up with as many ideas as possible to write about. Take a good ten minutes. Solves the “I can’t think of anything” problem. Duh.

Plan, Plan, Plan Then What? How are you going to introduce? What is your position? What are some good arguments to make your point? Why would someone want to believe you?

Finally… Write Take your time. Be neat. Review your writing when finished.

And you should NEVER: Just start writing!
