The Reason for Easter Galatians 4:4-7

“to deliver from a desperate situation” Redeemed by the Son

Ephesians 2:1-3 And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience… Redeemed by the Son

Ephesians 2:1-3 …Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest. Redeemed by the Son

we are slaves of sin (Eph 2:1) we are servants of Satan (Eph 2:2) we are children of wrath (Eph 2:3) Redeemed by the Son

Matthew 5:21-22 “You have heard that the ancients were told, ‘You shall not commit murder’ and ‘Whoever commits murder shall be liable to the court.’ But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever says to his brother, ‘You good-for-nothing,’ shall be guilty before the supreme court; and whoever says, ‘You fool,’ shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell.” Redeemed by the Son

Matthew 5:27-28 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery’; but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” Redeemed by the Son

Islam says “DO” Christianity says “DONE” Redeemed by the Son

Nothing comes from nothing, Nothing ever could. So somewhere in my youth or childhood, I must have done something good Redeemed by the Son

Redemption is a gift All you must do is accept it Redeemed by the Son

Adopted as sons Adopted as heirs eternal life resurrection the new heaven and new earth dominion Adopted by the Father

Result: we can call God “Abba, Father” Adopted by the Father
