A Pronoun takes the place of a noun. For example, instead of saying: The campers carried food in the camper’s backpack. We replace the second noun with a pronoun and say: The campers carried food in their backpacks. Therefore, the pronoun their takes the place of the noun campers.

The two types of pronouns we will discuss is the Personal Pronoun and the Demonstrative Pronoun.
