ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  Provides assistance to the Regions  Approval of utility agreements  Establishes procedures in accordance with approved policy  Provides a liaison between the Regions and utility companies 3

 Responsible for the evaluation of utility contract proposals  Provide technical expertise to Region Utility Coordinators & Utility Companies  Oversee payment of utility bills  Examine PS&E’s and compile information from utility status reports monthly. 4

 Evaluate proposed changes in guidelines, procedures and statutes  Advise WisDOT staff and utility representatives  Conduct training for designers and utility coordinators & utility company personnel  Maintain and update manuals and forms  Participate in ad hoc utility coordination committees. 5

 Updated Utility Coordination Guide Being reviewed by WisDOT - Office of General Counsel  Developing new and updated training for: Utilities, Local Public Agencies, Consultants and WisDOT Staff  3D Technology projects  Every Day Counts (EDC)
