TM Purpose: –to guide Committee, staff, and participant activities –to promote acceptance –to enhance the professionalism and overall effectiveness of the program Compliance with this code is a requirement for participation in the CII Benchmarking and Metrics Program. CII Benchmarking Code of Conduct

TM Committee & Staff Principles Confidential treatment of data –Publishing of aggregated data only –Use of confidentiality agreements –Permissions from companies Use of data to support benchmarking, research, and implementation activities Contacts through Benchmarking Associates only

TM Participant Principles Avoid activities that might lead to bid rigging, restraint of trade, etc. Agreement to input representative, complete, and accurate data Will not seek confidential data from Committee or staff Commitment to attendance at annual training and data validation
