Example: My husband worked for a car repair shop for a short time that was having them tell customers things that they didn’t need on their cars. He had to choose between doing the job the way that they wanted or being ethical. He chose being ethical and left the company shortly after that started.

ETHICAL DECISION MAKING A common concern in ethical decision making involves conflict of Interest Conflict of Interest occurs when an action by a company or individual results in an unfair benefit. Example: A company’s board member pressured the company to buy items only from a business that a board member owns or controls.
