Pathway to Excellence Designation  Substantiates the professional satisfaction of all  Identifies best places to work  Confirms excellence to the public  Creates positive impact on environment, culture, recruitment, and retention 3

Creating Positive Work Places  Hospital award, not a nursing award  Takes all disciplines  It is an interdisciplinary award 4 Work Environment Nursing Satisfaction Values/ Supports Nursing and Other Staff
