About My Day My Daily Routine: Go to work  Breakfast  Work  Lunch  Back to work  Dinner  Go Home Check your answers carefully! Uh, what about…

I have to travel 11km from my house to the school everyday. Sometimes I ride my bicycle to work, but today let’s take the Metro. Its now about 06:55 in the morning, we will start our tour today from the Metro station. Let’s go! Today I am going to tell you about my habitat of food. I believe that will be a good start for our stories.

Time to begin the Journey! Follow me and let’s go! About 07:00 Yuan-Shan( 圓山 ) Metro Station, Taipei, Taiwan First choice of breakfast in sight! Look at the crowd in there! Let’s keep moving forward~ On the way to the school  Start from here, the Metro Station.

On the way to school Roads are repaired and the buildings around the Metro Station got new coat of paint.

Because… The International Flora Expo!

On the way to the school Second choice of breakfast targeted! There’s no need to wait in the line, so Let’s buy my breakfast here. I bought a cup of black tea, some nuggets, eggs and fries.

Turn around the corner and the school is on my right hand side. Welcome to… Lan-Zhou Junior High School! This is a photo of the old wall And this photo shows the newly built wall And now we arrive the school’s front gate.

The Lan-Zhou Junior High School and her neighborhood Da-Long Night Market Confucius Temple Bao-An Temple

About the Region Located at Da-Tong District. The Lan-Zhou Junior High School was funded on a land which was used to be called “Pourompon” in Dutch. Now we called the place“Da-Long-Dong( 大龍 峒 )”. Which means that people who live here have good will and can be said to be gentlemen. The school herself was funded for 42 years. But the Bao-An Temple and the Confucius Temple can be dated back to Qing Dynasty. Lan-Zhou Junior High School, (1969) Bao-An Temple, (?1775) Construction plan of Confucius Temple (?1879)

Time for Lunch!

Let’s move to Da-Long Night Market First two choices spotted! Beef Noodles Braised pork rice, noodles, soup If I need to attend to a meeting at lunch time. I will buy my lunch here. Let’s keep going.

Now we arrived! The Da-Long Night Market There is a park across the road, on my left hand side, named “Da-Long Park” If I have time, I will always choose a shop to seat down, relax and enjoy my meal.

Da-Long Night Market Although the Da-Long Night Market does not as famous as Shihlin Night Market. It still plays an important rolls to the locals. We can buy food or food materials from here. Most of the services here are about food.

This shop are good at lunch boxes with variety of meat. I love the lamb most. This shop sells drinks. I always buy a cup of bubble tea or coffee on my way back to school. Most of the time I spend my lunch time here because I can watch the news and enjoy my meal at the same time. They sell noodles and appetizers. We have our lunch here! A Vegetarian Food Cafeteria.

I am not a vegetarian. But this cafeteria have a huge selection of vegetarian food. So let’s just eat, don’t talk too much.

Let’s go back to school This shop owns by one of my students’ family. They are closed today. The differences between day and night of the night market are vendors. If the weathers are good, you can see a lot of vendors, motorcycles, students or workers crawling around the only street of Da- Long Night Market.

This shop sells Japanese food. Japanese food is my favorite. At the end of the day, if I am not in a hurry to go home. I often come here for supper. He is the owner. Don’t forget the convenient store!

Our school’s in-room swimming pool. I have never been in there because I am too busy for a swim. Another choice for breakfast, but it is closed today.
