Need for the course The training course will equip the participants with a range of emerging practices and examples of how e-Government and e-business services can be undertaken by government/public sector organizations to strategically plan and transform their organization to: Realign government service delivery with the citizen focus Improve transparency, accountability and trust in the government Improve the citizen experience in Government transactions, reducing time, costs and administration burden for government agencies Slide 7

Objectives Need for change in current service delivery model and role of e-Governance National e-Governance Plan, MMPs, institutional structures and related policies e-Governance evolution model and approach for implementation of e-Governance Lifecycle and phases, scope, approach and deliverables in each phase in e-Governance project development and implementation Approach for addressing project requirements during the lifecycle Role for private sector participation..
