 I can help you figure it out!  Maybe you know what you want to be – teacher, doctor, lawyer, accountant, etc. BUT how do you get there?  I can help you with your Career Plan. How to go from 9 th grade to 12 th grade to college/career!  How to pay for college, apply to college, etc!  Come see me and I can help you figure it ALL OUT!

 Students on free and reduced lunch are eligible for 3 FREE ACT and SAT exams!  I can help you with the waiver process! – Come see me!  You also can get 4 FREE college applications with this waiver, too!

 You have to take the ASVAB!  Sign up in the Career Center  The test will take place at LCHS October 27 th !  The test is FREE and will take approximately 3 hours.  See me for more information and to sign up! Army, Navy, Marines, National Guard, Coast Guard and Air Force

 This program is for current 10 th grade students  Application process  See Mrs. Poole for an application  You will be interviewed by a panel of community members

 Starts your Junior Year  Go to CCCC 1 st block  Mon, Wed, Friday – You take CCCC Welding courses.  Tues, Thurs - work and train with Caterpillar  Get paid $10 an hour on Tues/Thurs while working for Caterpillar.  Earning high school credit, college credit AND getting paid while you are doing it – FANTASTIC!

 Summer between 11 th and 12 th grade – you work at Caterpillar $11 an hour, 30 hours a week  Senior year – spend 1 st and 2 nd blocks all year with the Caterpillar program. Get paid $12  Do well in the program, graduate with a Welding certificate = GOOD CHANCE OF FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT WITH CAT!  CAT will pay for you to go to college when you become employed with their company!
