If you have less than 120 completed credits you need to talk to your counselor about 7th period APEX and/or summer school. This is the GPA that you will submit to universities . . You should have 120 completed credits by now .

Trade/Technical Schools: ITT, DeVry, FIDM, Art and Music Institute, Culinary Arts, etc. (Financial Aid available). Certificate Programs: Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Repair, Auto Body, Interior Design, etc. Military: Navy, Army, Marines, Coast Guard, and Air Force. ASVAB testing required. Work: Going directly into the workforce. On the job learning

11 Choosing a Major There are 250 job categories with thousands of choices within those clusters. To learn about available careers and college majors, in the Career Center Search the internet for occupations Ask teachers, parents, neighbors, anyone and everyone about occupations

Narrow your College List Testing - PSAT, ACT and SAT (subject test optional but…) Review your A-G status Keep your grades up

Select your Senior courses carefully Visit some of your top pick colleges Do not pay for the FAFSA or Dream Act Attend spring visit programs Narrow your college list. Take the SAT and/or the ACT Final Transcript Request to NCAA and NAIA Start drafts of Personal Insite Questions
